FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Once your furniture arrives to your home or business, clients can call our office to schedule an
appointment - - appointments are in 3 hour time frames (please allow time for assembly) and can
usually be scheduled within 24 to 48 hours depending on availability of assemblers and prior
service calls.
Yes, we have a minimum service charge of $50.
Assembly Solutions accepts Cash, Business & Personal Checks (with ID), and Credit Cards.
Payment is to be made the day of the assembly after services are completed..
Checks are to be made to "ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS".
We also accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express (A.E. requires 2.0% fee).
Please have the items model number, SKU and place of purchase available when contacting our
office to expedite your call.
Sometimes. Assembly Solutions offers a wide variety of services and some (such as swing sets)
require only our very best installers so we do charge an 'out of area' fee for communities outside
their normal territory.
Any additional charges will be discussed when you contact us.
Normally assembly of your items will take between 1 and 4 hours depending on the complexity of
the item. Approximate time frames will be given when you contact us.
No, the assembler will NOT move items within the home or office. It is the customers responsibility
to have the furniture or fitness equipment placed in the room prior to the assemblers arrival.
The only exception being the Ikea Personal Shopper Service - items will be brought in and placed.
If having your items delivered by other means please have the delivery personnel place the items in
the room or carry it upstairs prior to their departure.
Assembly Solutions requires at least THREE TIMES the WIDTH of the largest carton for assembly.
Item will positioned within the room after assembly.
SWING SETS NEED TO BE PLACED DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO THE AREA IT IS TO BE BUILT.
Due to the weight and quantity of parts, Assembly Solutions cannot move these units on your
property.
No, the removal of the empty cartons and trash is not included in the assembly quote, but can be
added for an additional charge of $5.00 for one carton and $1.50 for each additional carton.
The exception being our Ikea Personal Shopper Service - all cardboard & trash will be removed
from the premises.
It is the customers responsibility to inspect all cartons for obvious damage at the time of delivery
and immediately notify the delivery personnel of said damages and ask for replacements to be
sent. The assembler will NOT open cartons that are obviously crushed or damaged.
Assembly Solutions is not responsible for any damages beyond our control, such as concealed
damages, factory defects, missing parts, mishandling of items during shipping, delivery or at retail
level, or wrong item or color. We ask that the customer be diligent in inspection of their items prior
to scheduling Assembly Solutions for their assembly needs.
If during assembly a part is discovered to be damaged or defective, we will inform the customer of
the issue - the customer may elect to have the item assembled with the defect or make
arrangements for the item to be replaced. Assembly Solutions will (if possible) make every
reasonable effort to have the part ordered and sent directly to the customer - when the part arrives,
the customer will call Assembly Solutions to schedule a return visit to finish the job.
Should the customer request us to discontinue the assembly, the customer will be charged a
minimum service call fee of $50 and be instructed to reschedule service when the missing parts or
new items arrive.
YES! Assembly Solutions offers a written, 45 day warranty on all new item assemblies. This does
not supersede the manufacturers warranty.
